Lady Awen saw him then, As her delicate body was hurtled with stones, Although wracked with pain her spirit remained calm, She felt not the need nor the will to atone. For a while now he and she were connected on a mental level, And could sometimes communicate freely with their minds, She begged him to control the rage boiling inside of him, She begged him not to let the villagers involve him in their henious crime. Lady Awen then spoke the words of a handfasting, A fasting, a marriage that would live beyond the plains of time, She declared before him, the Goddess and the God, That she was Caleb's until the end of time. With that his heart was overwhelmed, With love and fury both, He too, messaged his vows of the handfasting, And with those final vows of love and honour his will of controlling the Berserker it broke. Caleb's eyes went the deepest of deep blue, He literally grew in size, The blood lust it overtook him, He became that which he so despised!!!! *~ Love and Compassion are the moral fabric of world peace. ~* [This message has been edited by Isis (02-02-2002 06:22 PM).] |
