Effort and a feign
Fake I deffend
A promise uprooted
From the family tree
Consistency

Subsatance thick as syrup
Pretended and floating cloud 9
To the highest glory
False hope and doom
A game of peek-a-boo

Rustic the sword of vengence
And honor melts
With the truth
And the cry of Lady Justice
Failed complaints and tighter control

The rope tightens and power
A flimsy word called law
An oxymoron in pratice
The truth set against the cake
And our judicial branch reaches 320{lbs}

A governmental thumb placed
Seals the blind spot of the body
Signature of the free and the subsequent contract
A slave of the people for the people
Control of our destiny, flattered embers

Tighter the request and vote
Misscalculated one and two
A process of accident must preceed
As we smash our faces
Collasping on our dead roots

Dry and withered
Sentimental machines
Power and the core of evil
Money becomes useless
Democracy and prison a systematic unit

a trickle of music from a well
let it spill and roar like hell!

Ah...  Just one question:  How in the *edit*WORLD*edit* do you combine politics and poetry so well?!?  You made me nod in agreement and think at the same time...  Wow.  Needless to say, I enjoyed this.  Thanks for sharing!

Craig, again, very nice thoughts here:

Rustic the sword of vengence
And honor melts
With the truth
And the cry of Lady Justice
Failed complaints and tighter control

I agree with Kaoru, this isnt necessarily dark.  You may want to take a twirl in open sometime. Check your spelling too K?
(I know I think I said that last time)
I love your writing and agree with your ideals

thanx guys,
i prolly should post in open more often, but everything there goes by so fast that it seems most people dont really get a chance to read your work.  And here in dark it usually sticks around a few days. lol

And my spelling is horrible, I need to get a pocket websters.

I feel awkward, littlewing.  I think my response to your previous response was a lil rude and it wasnt mean to be.  If it was, then sorry.
