We found our souls in pop bottles
Found our hope in dumpsters
Found our dope at the corner
Found the line for the border
Time to go a place we’ve never seen

I’m a star
Lights don’t shine too far
We’re stars
Drugs make us what we are
We’re pawns
Ready in the back of your car

We found our lies in the limousines
Found our pain in your money
Found our pope at the carwash
Found the source of disorder
Time to kill the place we’ve never been

I’m a star
Lights don’t shine too far
We’re stars
Drugs take all the we are
We’re pawns
“Get in the back of my car”

Sparkle in the gutter
Mutter, mutter, mutter
