Time keeps me at bay
Why does it still bother me?
Fading constantly away.....
Only if I could ever be free

Looking for solace in coming days
Where there is no absolute level of gain
Bringing only what others say
Softly falling, these tears of pain

In so many ways you held me from me
This life that I never could replace
No more nights, wishing to be free
Finally a release from seeing your face
