** Note: Usually I dont write whiney breakup poems, but this just came to my head. Lost tears on soft blankets, Mascara running down her face, Her green/hazel/brown eyes are swollen and red, Such a beautiful face turned ugly, By brokenhearted tears. Her unwashed hair, thrown up messy, but falling, like she did for the guy, that shattered her heart, Pajamas consist of a large t-shirt, Hanging loosely around her waist, As strong arms of another once had, Moist lips from salty tears, Running down her face, Tears he kissed away, the many times he hurt her, And now, alone she lies, With her brokenhearted tears, Alone in a bed, Wondering... "Will I ever get up?" By:Janna Shaffer Age: 15 [This message has been edited by jaysh (08-03-2003 11:50 PM).] |
