Have I Always Been This Insane?

where the wild flowers grow

Sticky sweet,
like honey.
My blood flows
with anger
through my veins.

Your nails
find a bed in my skin,
they sleep..
Trying to dig.

Have I always been
this insane?
The lights
flash on and off
trigger..
I pull my
eyes from behind
and think,
have I always
been this crazy?

That even soft
breathing could
send me heaving,
my heart racing
towards a pulsating
solution.

Rocking
back
and
forth
and back
to repetitive motion,
like the waves
of a tear stained ocean..
Spinning a web,
along came the spider.
The eight legged pet
that I gave a name.
White, blurred horizon,

have I always been this
insane?

I'm asking myself this same damn thing *sigh* I've come to the conclusion that everyone is insane

If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried.

This is a great poem. I think it's something that everyone faces at some point...I know I have, more than once.
