Blood red rubies Shimmer in the dark A child’s lost hope Never to be found Bright colors of dawn Seen with blind eyes The whole world sinks Into the abyss A mother screams As her child dies in vain The blood red veil Becomes a our restrain An hour of no honor Comes quicker than death Such pain inflicted With an iron whip Behind gates of steel I stand alone No one to rescue me From this torment Waiting to be free From the shackles Which bind me Such tears in a time of need, is not a reasonable term of sanity. It is but a reasonable term of human imperection. Normal is what you make it. |
