Ok, I've cleared out my email . . . . Due to subject matter I place this here instead of proses. Here goes . . . . . I held his tiny body underwater. I was waiting for the absence of movement, or until I was sure he had plunged into an endless sleep, where no pain could intrude. The convulsions kept coming, again, and again. I closed my eyes while dropping my hand deeper into the water. A few tears escaped and rolled down into the sink. I had to know what it was like to die. I looked down just as two tiny bubbles escaped from his mouth, and floated to the surface. I remember how peaceful they made me feel. One foot twitched for a few seconds, it was all over then. He had passed from one world to another never once trying to free himself from my hand. No pain, I thought. I put the saturated hamster into a box, covered him with Kleenex, closed and taped the lid, and went looking for a shovel. "Well I know, these voices must be my soul." -Dave Matthews- [This message has been edited by Annie (07-29-2003 11:44 PM).] |

Crowley believed that you got to the next level through knowledge. That you could travel through the next sphere with the knowledge gained in the previous ones. So, he set out to experience ALL things, good and bad. Including, the taking of life.... So? Was this good, or was this not? ~wranx [This message has been edited by wranx (07-30-2003 10:19 PM).] |

The horror of the story is what makes it beautiful, although something very cruel and unjust is happening, there is that something there, that description that makes it seem humane. I liked it, because it was done right. Otherwise, it would have been...i don't know meaningless. |
