Seeing you today,
Reminded me why I changed my ways,
Back when we were as one,
Couldn’t imagine our love would be undone,
The smile of mine that gave up hope,
Without it however did you cope,
I see you’ve stayed the same,
What ever did you gain,
When you tore me up inside,
That was some ride,
I failed as a man,
I gave up my life and ran,
Into your arms I saw myself stay,
Instead you decided to go away,
Leaving me behind with a lesson I should’ve learn,
Seeing you today, my flame for you still burns.

And with one or two in your life, the flame will always burn, nothing can change that. There is nothing wrong with it either...
We've learned valuable lessons and won't make such mistakes again....
