This are not poems like rhymes and stuff just more like venting.

yellow

I want to use yellow ,
cause it makes me feel happy ... even when I'm not.
Maybe for just a moment I can hide behind the illision .
Maybe it will seem real even to me ...

Daddy

In your voice theres so much hate,
In your eyse so much pain .
Is your heart so full of bitterness that its made you cold?
You told me I was once precious to you , what changed it?
I'm sorry daddy I had to grow up ,
I couldnt be your little girl forever.
I'm sorry you lost so much daddy but I didnt choose it .
I didnt choose for you to be an acholic or abusive.
I didnt make momma leave YOU did ,
and both of you not just one took something precious from ME .
Dont you think I'd give anything to be 4 agian listening to daddy's hands sitting in the rocking chair with you ... my father , my protector , my love ... my whole world.
But I'm not , why cant I be precious to you now?
I swear given the chance you would be to me .
And dad that you hate grandaddy but no he's not the bad man you wish him to be.
He's my rock , he has been since you left .
He loves me so much , I could be 500lb's and dumb as a box of rocks and he'd still love me .
But not you , never you and in my eyes that makes him a man other men should hope to be.
All the hate that spews from you mouth wiill eat at your heart and soul ,
till its gone , dissolved into nothing.
I just hope you can for once open your eyes and your heart before its too late .

all my love ,
Danielle

in a perfect world this would be sent to my dad and he would turn into a loving honest father.

Wow, there is so much pain and emotion in your words...I'm sorry for your situation.  I, too, have written many poems about my father, but my situation is different from yours.  My father disappeared without a word when I was 13, so I spent years (10 to be exact) trying to find him...luckily I did, but it was a long, hard road, especially for a teenaged girl.  I hope he realizes how lucky he is to have a daughter like you, like you said -- before it is too late.

Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end...
