It now seems that I
Can't play anymore
A cruel twist of fate
Is slamming the door
How many more times
To God I implore

Wow. I am impressed with this one. Well written and chosen in a strict, difficult rhyme theme. It's hard to rhyme one word throughout a whole poem and make it smooth. Well done.

With the word, I am mighty, with the pen I am free..

Songbird: My friends aren't the problem, it's the ones I fall in love with that are. It seems I living a catch 22. For you see, the women that I have fallen in love with don't fall in love with me and those who do fall for me, I don't for them. For example there's a Devo song called Baby Doll and the first 2 lines go as follows:

Girl of my dreams she don't love me
Always the way it seems to be
My Baby doll

So it would appear that I'm not the only one who knows what that's like. Oh well, hopefully some day that cycle will end and I will fall for someone that actually falls for me at the same time. Wish me luck and thanks for replying.
