Let Freedom Ring!
(Sept.11th 2001)

The headlines read today,
America under attack.
Pentagon and World Trade gone,
New York covered in black.
This really did scare me,
and to the ground my heart dropped.
I've always thought of the U.S. as invincible,
and even with this, we won't be stopped.
It's times like this,
I'm thankful to be alive,
but then feel a little selfish,
because of those who did not survive.
9-11 was the day,
and that's who got the call.
Our whole nation pulls together,
we'll rise higher than we fall.
We will hold on to it together,
so many have fought to be free.
You can go on and celebrate,
but you can't take that away from me.
Many lives are lost,
but America's still strong.
You thought you could bring us down,
but you were very wrong.
For each of us are connected,
we all have heart and pride.
This is OUR country,
and forever we'll stand by her side!!

GOD BLESS AMERICA AND ALL LIVES LOST!!!
Our Colors Will Never Run!!!

(big huggggssssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, this is a beautiful tribute to Our Lady Liberty, the tears will always remain with us all but our heroes will never be forgotten as now they truly are angels that guide us all! (sad sigh) God Bless You, you have my vote, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Katie, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

This is cleverly presented, very nicely done and smacks of pride in this wonderful country. Too bad you didn't post into Reflections where it would have got more exposure. Maybe you can request it be moved - I don't know. I am very appreciative of this write. Thank you.

I voted but it did not go to top of page, so this is a test to see if it will move this time.
