In a state of disrepair...

I am a neurosis.

There is a formless echo in the edge of your head, a sound without structure,
like the groaning as the weight of the world bends and twists your walls.

That's me.

The fatigue wrought image within your eyes defies all understanding
like the world we choose today to leave behind rips at your very core.

That's me.

The ghost of possible promise seemed to be a beautiful thing to you
yet that was long ago way back before when you were utterly naïve.

That's me.

Such a thing it is to see a hara-kiri fantasy each time you close your eyes
to go to sleep so that you can pass the day without resorting to tears.

That's me.

An unnerving feeling that you have somehow missed out on something
some dopamine release that all else have realized, all except for you.

I am a neurotoxin.

There should be a psychology of feet. For do we not make decisions with our legs and walk about on our brains? What do you mean "No, not really"?
