i started to try to type this in french...lol.i do better at decifering already written french than i do at trying to put my words together...i'm studying it,i'm enjoying reading les fleurs du mal right now,in french, and i know there must be lots i missed in you poem, but it doesn't matter cause anything sounds good in french..lol Seriously i identify with the little i got out of this, esp. the last few stanzas....and "Le chaton il ne crie, main ouvre la bouche et retourne. Les yeux sortent subitement de la tête, deux billes tachê d'or rayonnant du soleil mort." That i thought quite creative^...very creative in a simple duh kinda way... ![]() I'll put this in my library until the day when my french has much improved ![]() i'm delighted to see this here!! swamp Do i contradict myself?Very well i contradict myself.I contain multitudes.~walt whitman |

Swamp -- Thank you, but my French leaves much to be desired. I've corrected all the mistakes I can find, but you might not want to quote me to anyone who actually speaks French. Les Fleurs du Mal is an excellent book. Enjoy. |

lol,i thought as much,i noticed i understood far to much and wondered if my vocabulary was really that good or if you were just using alot of words i knew...heehee...Still simple words,or obselete words i beleive it's the concept and the creative ideas that count, and this had quite a few of those things that make you sit back and go 'oh how interesting, never thought of it quite like that!!" |
