It's always the touch I go back to
the strangling emotion, shattered devotion
an advantage he took...then destroyed,
the family, annoyed, put null and void
on these feelings that haunt me still.

I'll go back and back until...please God
let it die, the shame, the cry, let
it all pass away, please God, I pray
make the vision fade from view...

Take the touch that was meant to subdue
subject the taboo,
upon an angel so unaware,
a mere child left in his care,
ravaged without thought
the virgin's distraught
and no one dared to believe.
