The one who dies with the most toys wins Basking in the incessant need To procure a bit more Than I require or deserve One of the first acts of Human nature Is greed based - long before speech or cognition Is attained An infant continues to suckle at the breast Long after the pangs of hunger Subside I will take more breaths Than I medically need to survive today As I did yesterday And you will do tomorrow The seven deadly sins are not a Ticket to a fiery hell More appropriately, they are the Blueprint and assurance That life will continue Long after I die With the most toys. More appropriately, they are the Blueprint and assurance That life will continue Long after I die With the most toys. That is sure the truth! Enjoyed this one. |
