A dance of vagrant emissaries darkens the horizons door and begs for tender mercies on these grim & bloody shores And time which can't escape itself vies for the crucial hour when man shall meet his maker & strip him of his power |

"when man shall meet his maker, and strip him of his power" Yes, it's funny, but as much power as we think we have, the reality is, we have none. And all the supposed power we do have, it's made into much more than it should. Modesty in moderation. Write on! |

I liked this bit at first, but I mis-read the ending, so I thought it was saying that the person would strip the higher being of power. Yeah, I know: I'm a ditz! #^_^# "Am assured, receptive, responsive women of substance. My sense of self comes not from other people but from myself? That can't be right." Bridget Jones |

Perhaps we will find that we are what we fear the most. Well done, I wonder how many will realize what this verse says? What light through yon window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun. |

Well written & enjoyable to read. I especially enjoyed the story-line. |
