Hatred's Permanent Imprint Dark merlot stained fingers varnished with a rains muddied downpour, The rage of a fierce silent battled wars siren red Toes and fingertips worn bloody from rancid territory, Calloused palms, A permanent imprint of a revolvers trigger, The death of human flesh, buried beneath the cracked paths we now tread. A bullets whistle and platinum blurred hesitation The young men’s desperation to return home as one by one each fell with pride The destined soldiers tears shed for freedom, Blood shot eyes, A permanent imprint of fears forbidden wake, The death of innocent souls, buried within a crimson night. A green velvet coat wavering subtly in the breeze Soft sun beamed curls floating untouched amongst wars heated battle as detests fed One small girl conquering one division of a nation Peace showing its face, A permanent imprint on life’s testimony of true will The death of a nation’s victory, buried within the grave of what hatred willingly bred. This was so deep, hope to read many more. If your afraid of the dark, then why did you come? |
