Life or Death By Matt Tell me, where's the light In this eternal night That seeps into my mind And brings darkness to all I find Tell me, where's the rain For I feel the pain And I hear the thunder As my life it plunders "It's my life" I say in confusion Not knowing it to be an illusion For I have yet to live at all So how can my life stall Yet stall it has, between death and birth Never again shall I walk on earth Nor can I smell the air Or live my life without a care Tell me, where's the pain For I see the rain As it floods my eyes While I whisper, "goodbye" Tell me, where's the night All I see now is light Is this the end Or did my life just begin "They do not love that do not show their love.”-Shakespeare |

Wow! This is an impressive transition you have here. I especially loved the way you apparently personified the world described in the first four stanzas, in bidding it farewell. "If history is to change, let it change. If the world is to be destroyed, so be it. If my fate is to die, I must simply laugh" |

This is awesome. I like the way you let your feelings flow. Cold hands means a warm heart |

The way you wrote it almost convinced me that this was completely about death, but the ending through me off. That was awesome! Thought-provoking and seems to have lots of realistic emotions (i.e. very confusing!!). Excellent piece!!!! |

This was very interesting for I share the same thoughts at this point in my life. Well done! Regret not that which you have done, |
