There's a giraffe in my bathtub I wouldn't have noticed it lying on its side Had I not had to go take a wiz real bad The soap scum, I understand Lack of desire to clean around here But the giraffe? I guess I could blame Noah But I fear even he would look in wonder So, I wrote Anheuser-Busch, For maybe they were to blame for such a sight They responded that my inquisitive mind Made for one incredible laugh But the giraffe??? ------------------------------- (author's note: I later found that my four year old niece, Ariel, was the culprit of such a sight... I once had a half-dead junkie in my bathtub, but a Giraffe? That would have been rather....off putting. Good stuff, friend Purity ~wranx In reply to "which way do we go?", the answer was never "straight", but, "progressively forward". |
