Shades pulled taut to hide the light
Seal out the sun
No need to bath in its brightness
There is no reason to delight in its warmth
There is comfort in the cool of grey
Huddled within the silence
Where pupils dilate in response
To the safety of darkness
Whispers coo softly to unheard song
As my phantom partner curtseys
"Ha!" you laugh
"What fool dances with shadows?"
"Tis I." I reply.
As I bow in gesture
Then waltz into the blackness of dreams.

Very very very good! (was that too many *very's*?) Anyways, this was very well written (theres that very word again) I like your style and I hope to see more....

OH YES! This one is very well presented..very well said! I love grey days sometimes..whether inside myself or outside in the weather around me.
