I'm delving back in history for this one. I thought I'd share three old poems with you all today.

Rainsong x
She blessed me with color and fragrance.
She left me with a headache.

In the rain she walked home.
She didn't need a light.

I listen to her footsteps grow fainter,
part of the falling sky.

I like these two lines the best. Very interesting thought. A blessing and a curse. Great stuff. Glad you pulled it out of your archives.

There are a million messages,
in a million bottles,
you just have to know
which one to pull out of the ocean.

Thanks, WhiteRose and WhileIWasGone. This one sort of came to me during a very infrequent rainstorm in California. I'd just moved into my apartment a few weeks ago, following four months of living in my ex's parent's home -- talk about turning the screw. Well, there's a long story behind that, and blah de blah blah blah, and here I am today.

Rain is good. Rainstorms are better. Walking to work in a rainstorm is fun. 'Course, then I'm wet all night. Hmm...

Love you. What's with the dig-up-th'-past trend today?

Is this what you wanted me to be?

*kiss* I just wanted to share some stuff that most everyone -- including me -- has forgotten.

Wow, I really enjoyed this one. It almost seems like an extended Hiaku because of the mysterious nature tones it carries. Incredible.

Hi

I really liked this.

Minimalist in the sense that you have really stripped this to the bone, no padding, and yet such powerful emotions flood the lines.

Thanks for sharing.
