Creeping over you it is a monster fear fear taken to extreme terror is more clear it grips more intently and it doesn't ever slow once it is inside it just starts to grow with a life of it's own a power so strong it could take down a man and it wouldn't take long terror is like fear in it's purest form a feeling of helplessness way beyond the norm a hideous emotion a crippling state of mind terror is the father of emotions of this kind. Hmmm ... I could read really deeply into this and extract bits of life, and probably make assumptions that aren't true. So I will treat it for what it is -- a nice, savage piece of art that makes you think. Glad you wrote it, WR. M. "I fall into your arms." |

This "terror" was experienced as a 17 yr. old married child who had foolishly gone to see "The Exorcist". I was living in a very old house and my husband worked 3rd shift. There was a creepy attic, I lived on the second floor, and the attic had life at night. I can honestly say I've not felt this terror since.
