Invincible Though into a lost realm Of melodic fastnesses, My exiled hopes are barred, I still have seen The topless towers of Ilium Rise glowing in your eyes, And known the stir Of ageless passions That dying centuries May not dim; Mine, have been the gleaming heights Of fair Parnassus, And the lowest depth Of the deepest sea; And, though I walk Misted in purple shadows, Lost...alone... Not Death, Nor even Life itself May rob me now. |

This was a really beautiful one. I like the imagery you've used here. It portrays a sense of experience long forgotten, but never really leaving the memory. Nice work here. |
