I owe love to the footprints of the ocean. I owe love to song upon the hills I owe love to evening's shadows. Why? Why do I? Could it be the tender way in which you sigh? Could it be those bird-shadows in the sky? Tell me the answers. Tell me why? Oh god, that lightning burns. Bolts thrown from cloud to cloud. Rain turns into eyes; she watches me. Tears falling soft upon the ache within your heart, Soothing cool, it's love... Our love... Dear, I want to die. Shhh, dear, it's all right. I want to die among our love's intents. Then wrap me in the tender groanings beneath your strength, roll over me & take my breath away that I might slumber forever with you... You kiss away the storm. You hold the sea in palm. You bid me drink your flood until I know your secrets' calm. Nourish me with your lips, feed me the fire of your passion, set ablaze the world that holds only us two... I owe love to the colour of your sighs. I owe love to the keeper of my soul. I owe love to the wishes of our nights. Do I? I do. My darling, I owe all my love... to you... I sailed these ships to you. Each bore a letter of your name. They numbered four. Oh, Love. Each word bore the sweetness of your kiss and the tenderness of your touch. Each touch became a song played upon your aqua eyes. I am lost in the melody that beckons at the edge of your shimmering dark pools... I drowned myself to sleep in them. I drowned my dreams in stilled waters. He knows the meaning of every sigh each time he awakens me with love. And she knows my heart whenever I speak her name. His warmth gives her life, his voice wilds her tame... I owe love to the day that bursts from you & the night that blankets the joining of two... Forever, Love. I owe you. She said burn ... together. |

Well, I have an idea. I think that I'll have to find a new way to express my appreciation for your and tiersdin's poetry. Together and separate, both of you have achieved a new level of competence. I'm going to go find my crayons and maybe color in my SpongeBob book. ~wranx I have great faith in Humanity...It's just most of the Humans, I'm not too keen on. E.F.Rose |

you know. . . I really like it when two of my personal favorites get together. . . this is why. . . a wonderful piece that just seems to fall down the page and take the reader away. . . yes. . . great work you two. . . --------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |
