I am everywhere

I sunk deep into your words.
Believing each one.
Loving each syllable.
Needing each letter.

A spark, created by your face.
I believed each mark.
Loving every part.
Needing you completely.

I loved you for real.
You screwed me over.
I needed you deeply.
You didn't care.
I wanted your love.
And you took it away.

I saw your body drift,
down the street,
on your feet.
Not face down,
in a river,
as I wanted you to be.

Now I'm drowning,
as I wish you were.
But I'm not in water.
I'm downing in my consensus,
that, I'm sure,
you also, hope I lose.
