You see, love is just a feeling That I have never felt I tease and joke about it But the sadness I have dealt There is no Man of Armour Or should I call him my Knight To sweep me off my feet And to keep my heart in sight He only lives in fairy tales No longer does he breathe And when I wake each morning My thoughts of him do leave But as each sun does set My Knight, he does appear Holding me close to his body As he chases away my fears My dreams I do hold close That's the only love I feel As he cares for me as I sleep That's our never ending deal!!! A friend, like a candle, is most needed in the darkness. |

And a very wise contemporary poet/singer/songwriter Graham Russell says "Dreaming is real, only life is illusion"...and I still believe if you believe in that knight's tale long enough, you can will it into existence. Another great, moving write, DK!! |
