Doldrums I sit around, Listening to sound of the rain, awake But not fully aware of existence. The clock making itself known, Every fifteen minutes. Thoughts of the past engulfing my mind Reflections. Voices piercing through me, screaming Echoes. The strings on my guitar, untuned A prosaic melody playing in the distance. As I waste away the day, A day that was full of possibilities. I try to think about sadder days... Doldrums. -Stryder Why do they call it "Common Sense" when so many people are obviously lacking it? Oooh, I like this! Very musical and forlorn, in that good bluesy way. She said burn ... together. |
