I need to see the sun in apex.
Watch the light upon the sky
without touching the blue.
I need to grow through soil.
Through the soil of you.

I need the calm you bring.
Upon these stones I watch the blaze,
a pinpoint overhead and down.
When the moon comes, my hands rise
to touch the face of you apart.
I need you in this place, black rose.
I need your thorns to sting my heart.

Let me hold your fragile stem.
Gray feathers blow all apart.

Squirrel Dude,
I saw an awesome shiny black sparkly landscape in this poem...and I haven't done acid since the 60s'...cool.

BTW, who is Trent Reznor, and why must I sent him a poem?

Trent Reznor's the angsty guy behind Nine Inch Nails, one of my favorite groups for raging against the dying of the light.

Hmm... I've never thought of the correlation between acid and a broken heart before. Nor do I want to start now.
