In that last leap from the living to the dead I shall not go in peace But filled with fearful dread let only darkness greet me No lamp or light my guide let me not hear or see thee Grant that my soul and I,both died And God smiled his terrible smile And reached out his mighty hand He made me see both what i am And what i might have been arthur |

And reached out his mighty hand He made me see both what i am And what i might have been ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Arthur, a very interesting write you have posted here. These last three lines sum it all up, and give it a good bold closing. Enjoyed! ~hugs across the pond~ ~Somewhere in my heart I'm always |

Indeed, a powerful closing. This is an enjoyable read. Provokes personal thoughts and fears of mortality. |

I like the way that you say what needs to be said, without using up all the worlds words. wranx |
