Unconditional unconditional is my love for you my words lose their meaning after so long being used whispering in the night expecting a response an attempt to hush me up I look away try to brush off the tears that come to my red-rimmed eyes when you are done left there by myself awaiting your return television's mesmerizing glace has you in it's grips you don't even see when I slip away into the dark crawling to a corner where you cannot see not that you would look holding myself crying a better love song that went so wrong I make my return you don't even look up my head against your cold shoulder holding on to my fleeting glimpse of happiness never knowing how to let go never wanting to you move away always just out of reach I cannot change this no matter what I do how hard I try you never seem to care just when things get bad then you try to be there but it's only a quick fix a junkie needs more I give all I can never getting any in return all the sacrifices that I've made all in vain you don't even notice Hollywood's smiling faces reflecting off your eyes mine are gazing at your face waiting for you to realize that you want to be there for me too, unconditionally |

This hurts me through and through just reading it, funny how life works this way. All you do is try to show someone Love and content in just being in the same place in time with them, just to feel rejected by giving everything. Learning where to draw the line is by far the most difficult thing to do, especially when the outcome is something you dont think will be in your favor... at the moment anyways. Dont settle for anything less that you expect or deserve. Ever. {{{HUGZ}}} Strive for higher levels, if they seem out of reach... Grow, and they will get closer. |
