The Sweet Memories... to cherish, to hold. |

Isn’t it funny, how time goes by so fast? Most people look forward to the future, But some long for the past. Remembering the good times, Cherishing the memories that are precious as gold, Promising never to forget them, The memories I will always hold. Sometimes I wish, That I could go back to being a “kid” And do all the fun stuff in the past that I did. There is still a little bit of that child like person in me, But now I’m growing up, and grown all the way, soon I will be. Life is getting harder, and some stuff seems real strange, It really seems awkward, Because your life you must rearrange. Because now I’m getting older, And I have responsibilities, Like driving a car, getting a job, and making money by my own means. BUT, I just want to say thank you, for the love you gave to me, You have been the best parent in the world, the best there could EVER be. I love you mom. *Look past the darkness and you will see the light.* [This message has been edited by LadyPeach1 (04-28-2002 04:56 PM).] |

nice dedication to mother. One must move on from the past but not forget the memory. Great job. Ronil (A mask for everyday. Imagine a life without them.) |

There was a time in my life I may never see again Like a ship on the horizon Slowly growing dim... I hear the songs of yesterday playing in my head I see my dreams so far away... ...slowly coming in... Your reminescing as a way to re-vitalize that love that is always there was absolutely beautiful, and I thank you for sharing. Great write!!! |
