-In Memory of Murdoch- And all the rivers cry... The life of me cannot begin to set sight Nor justifications be acceptible. The measure, now in the moment, Of the blessing to know you Filters so far out Old friends reunite and new ones made And I, lost in a world of confusion and disparity, Am there in harmony with the rivers' tearful deluge. Reflections of our closeness and friendship That always served excitement and anticipation Of our next get-together Are at the forefront constantly now, and Although, momentarily, expanding the need for grief, Assuredly enlightening my soul with knowledge of Just how beautiful you were. I sit now, missing my friend, scared of the Realization that the depressions, when they attack, Will no longer be able to be easily dissolved by My unexpected phone call. So, I'll look towards the sky, and into the space Of night. I'll look for the wisdom, genius, Laughter, compassion and love that has carried Not only me, but infinite others through, in the Hearts of all you've touched For there your spirit radiates. And from this moment on, the reflections of you and Of us shall again cause me to excite and anticipate Our next get-together. Until then, the stars are brighter here, I know, For God has a champion with Him now. |

one of the most incredible pieces of poetry i've ever been privileged to read, purity. a beautiful eulogy and tribute to someone who obviously was beautiful themself, and who blessed you tremendously while here with you. i thought of my brother throughout reading this, and i cried along with those rivers. the ending was magnamious. awesome! |

Wow... that's all I can say.... The Angry Bard is crying over this one... SO beautiful. Thank you for sharing this with us.... Due to circumstances beyond your control, you are master of your fate and captain of your soul. |

This was an AWESOME poem! I think your late friend would definitely appreciate it. You have done a great job putting your emotion onto paper[well, in this case the computer screen] like few others I've come across have. I sympathize with your loss of friends. Change and loss often go hand in hand, and both are painful. A great read. Thankyou for sharing. "If history is to change, let it change. If the world is to be destroyed, so be it. If my fate is to die, I must simply laugh" |

I want to take a serious moment and thank each one of you for reading this one, and your responses. It makes the rivers cry again for such great show of support. This one hit too close to home, and your responses have definitely aided in getting through and over the grieving period. THANK YOU. |
