The jewel that sits above the darkened sea, Empowering it to glow with life and light, To call to silence the restless mind and free The torn and battered heart from the noose pull'd tight About the long dead life you once held dear, You recognize as moon and stars in song And symphony washing away your fear. This moon can call to action right and wrong, The beautiful quiet starlit peaceful eve, Or the fierce and deathly howl of stormy winds Angry over some injustice long past now, When people like to name the wind somehow With names of ages of time to find what finds The helpless soul with greedy eyes and waits. "If history is to change, let it change. If the world is to be destroyed, so be it. If my fate is to die, I must simply laugh" |

Enjoyable bit of poetry, It starts well, but the rhyme gets disrupted. What’s up with that? If there is a supposed significance to it I fail to see what it adds by it’s lack. Otherwise the expression is very good. Gloom |
