To sleep and dream of some happy moments, Through night which will pass in rest so pleasant, Smoothly till morn wakes me gently to be And I must face the chill of reality. I only drink so that I’ll go to sleep. Avoid those dreams or restless wanderings, Dispel the blood on death hands gathering, Shun the eyes glazed in their final chill breath, Escape visions cast in this mini-death. I only take pills that I’ll go to sleep. I see open veins like revolving doors, Nightmares flowing to crash on sleeping shores, Oceans would drown me if I leave to sleep, I stay awake hoping my soul to keep. Gloom |

I get this one too well I also, wish I could sleep peacefully once again in the darkness of the night Yet my eyes remain open scared I might lose everything. good write, Mags Don't cry because it's over: smile because it happened. |

I avoided reality most of my life.... and feared death of knowing where at that time my soul would go.... Gloom...smile just once : ) |
