A friend of mine died yesterday, and I found out about it today, so I wrote this poem in his memory

My friend, now gone
Away from life
A tragic accident

You should have had
A long full life
But now, instead, you're dead

I can't believe
This has happened to
One as young as you

Not only that
But your whole family
Is also gone away

I'll miss you Rob
You were a star
You were such a good friend

And no matter what
I promise you this
Your memory shall ne'er end

Rest in Peace the Pettet Family

My deepest smypathies for the loss of your friend. We seem never to forget, but only learn to cope with loss. Your friend was truly blessed to have been loved.

Check out "As a Blackness Blooms" for a more abstract approach.
Not good things to happen, but good things to write about.

I am crying now this was so sad. on feb. 3rd it wil be 3 years since my best friend and boyfriend died. i understand how you feel, and each day it will get easier to deal with and understand. just remember that in your memory and words they will never die.
