LOVELY LADY A lovely lady I was when sun burnt days kissed happiness A flower, petals fresh and new greeted morn with hopefulness. Too soon cold frost left icicles and joined the end to middle age a frozen mass untouchable adrift in sea of silent pain. Again to melt into the past a dream could be, I think it strange this passion red of vibrant hue my rusted heart did re-arrange. To grow in heat of life anew my needs in you, how can it be this child made woman knowing you found spirit love inside to feel? A life of searching came full stop titanic hands brushed me awake yet still my heart floats aimlessly a boiling pot this deep heartache. Alive on tides of needing you I find you still beyond my view! |

Beautiful piece here! Mags Don't cry because it's over: smile because it happened. |
