The Howling Under the watchful eyes of the night sky The full moon glows hesitantly Afraid and yet eager to appear from the mist Formed by silent tears and magic Only to be dissipated by fate And the howls of the damned A change is near Innocence is lost Releasing the anger of the subconscious The part of man that refuses to die Remaining silent while the fury builds Gaining strength and courage And eventually power over the heavens But not tonight As the moon sighs in relief Now able to tuck itself away in time Again regaining control But for how long? A question pondered over eternity As he looks upon his eternal twin Hoping she finds Her own “Sea of Tranquility” Before mankind returns to the beginning Unleashing the beast That is within Marcel |

This is eerie...I read it in a whisper lest I waken some demon to pursue me. |
