'My hands are tied!' she cried, 'There is nothing more I can do!" But with Summer's Solstice fast approaching, She'd pray to 'born again' too. A time to reflect on all the joys that summer has bought, A time to remember the good things that have happened and come to an end, Gather the herbs while thee may, And feast with family and friends. "As the sun spirals its longest dance, Cleanse us! As nature shows bounty and fertility, Bless us! Let all things live with loving intent And fulfill their truest destiny!" Remembering the Lady of The Moon, In front of the Lord of the Sun, She cast out all her negative energies, All anxieties were taken and therefore undone. Chanting, drumming and singing, She did raise the energy, That helped her fulfil her hopes and dreams, Knowing her Solstice prayers will come to be. Relieved of her burdens, No more chains she'd have to carry, She'd love and feast in joyous abandon, Knowing by Full Moon she'd unearth a soul that is happy. *~ Love and Compassion are the moral fabric of world peace. ~* |
