Do I act like I know what I'm doing? I am still the big sister Everyone thinks I still have the answers Everyone still looking to me But in some things I still have no experience What do you do when your Daddy's life is slipping away? What do you do when your mother is sad? Just what do you do? You knew that a sad day like this might come You knew it might be him or it might be her But you never no which way it might go Just who will be saying good-by Just who will you be comforting and when Can anyone ever truly be ready for this? Tell me.. |

Wow, this is great, & so true, I can relate, my father has been sick for like 6 years now (he's paralyzed from the lower ribcage down--a very rare disease that only one other known case in the world has had & he is now dead) My dad is in the hospital once again, this time for a heart attack (my grandma & his daily nurse couldn't wake him & it was his b-day!!), he will not be making it home for x-mas, just like the past 4 years! I love him so much, but know that I could lose him at any second! Hope your situation is a better one!! LOVE ELMO |

Dear Lady, I hope this is not about you. Are you the oldest? I have the big sister strength I feel I have to adhere to a lot also. I suppose thats why God made us big sisters? Enjoyed. I am many. |

songbird... I don't really know what to say I have never had to face this. I have had my own personal h*** but nothing like this I can only wish it was different for you and offer my prayers. The read was an eye opener. alan |
