Am I in the Twilight Zone? What is this spector I see? When lately I look in the mirror I view my father instead of me! How could this be happening So disconcertingly so? When did the generation gap close? How could I become so soon old? Is this a sad trick of time-- Illusion of perception? Is it a hoax to rob me of youth Into a cold deadly deception? My Father died years ago One time to me he seemed strong, But with the present phenomenon I wonder how long before I'm gone? Am I in the Twilight Zone Or having "a bad hair day"? Will I recover a less aged self-- Will I wake up and find it's now day?????? [This message has been edited by deleeme (edited 11-22-2001).] |

Yeah, we all get older. And You expressed how it feels really well here. And wow to see someone from Camden on here, I'm just down the road in Jacksonville. JT |

Dear David; I know this creepy moment all too well....it's like yesterday we were young and poof..it's gone. My regret is that i didn't appreciate the gift of youth as much as I would have liked...ah, but I know you, my friend, and your heart is as young as Springtime....so what else matters??? Hugs, from your young at heart sister... A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails. |
