Time Alone With Love What's up with you telling me what to do? I don't want you to love me because I rescue you. I don't want you to not love me if I don't rescue. I don't want you to thank God that he revealed who I am or am not. I simply want to be the man that you want and apparently I'm not. Is three thousand the price I must pay? Why do you want to treat me this way? Does lack of funds drive sweet love away? Can money in hand place love on display? What in the world did I do to you? Don't you believe my love is true? Does lack of funds prove love untrue? What exactly is the cost to be with you? You must know that love has no strings attached. No stipulations that our love will last. If you wish to go I won't stop you I hope you know. You will serve no kind of sentence with me. Take this time to be beautiful and free. I feel that you are honestly disgusted with me. Go ahead and banish me to a deserted island where my love will eternally roam lonely but free. I must remember that life doesn't seem so hot when you lose everything that you got. Let this be a lost lovers legacy that nothing in this life is free. Not even the love I thought you gave to me. So anytime you determine you have finished wih me just tell me not to say I love you anymore. That should be a lesson for me and maybe my time alone with love will punish me. JamesLee November17,01 |

I enjoyed reading this. After reading the part about lack of funds driving her away, all I can say is 'get away from her quick'. Breakups are always hard, but just from reading this it sounds like you'll be better off. JT |

James, this sounds suspiciously like she is not good enough for you-but then, who would be, right? Our romantic James..deserves nothing but the best. I do hope it works out though, and this was a good story, with a lot of strong points within. Have a peaceful holiday Sandra |

"So anytime you determine you have finished wih me just tell me not to say I love you anymore." Perfect! This gives you solace by giving freedom to choose by the other person... Better than, "Here's how I feel, now either do this or this," you say here's how I feel, and if you do not, then you tell me to NOT do this anymore. The psychology of that is undeniably beautiful, as is the way in which you describe your feelings. You are gonna get there, my friend... would seem you deserve nothing less. |
