For Lady Fey... She is returning soon, but gone for now. |

Silver rain, falling from the sky. A man alone, doomed that way to die. Images, of loneliness, and why? Because, my Lady is gone. She will return, I tell myself, In a while, it doesn't help. For now, my heart's deep wealth, Is with her, I am poor. Embittered feelings, pouring forth. Pain frustration, Lack of worth, I cannot think about the mirth, We used to share, together. But return she shall, In a bit, Frustrated feelings off will flit. Then, once more, together sit, and laugh, and cry, and share. Yet for now, this lonesome weight, Upon my soul, shall sit and wait. And this shall be my cruel fate, Because, my Lady is gone. (Strange, I thought that I would be fine with her gone for so long, yet I find out more and more just how much I need her, and can't live without her.) |

Hi...this is my first time here, and I came across your poem and it caught my attention....it sort of reminded me of The Raven by Poe, his loss, his sufferings, the ambiguity of wether or not his loved one will ever come back... great topic and great way of comunicating the message |

This is great & sad--I know what you mean, my boyfriend & I broke up like almost 4 months ago & I thought it would get easier as time went by, but I'm finding out the complete opposite! Keeping very busy helps though--lol LOVE ELMO |
