In the legions of words there is no conversation. All these people, and i feel desertion- crawl across my skin. In the vast quiet there is only noise. All this chaos, and i feel a kind of peace- numb, cold, but comfortable. Where do the words collect? The words that have no home, where do they gather? Like me,do they resist- the silence? Where does silence go to relax? Does quiet crave chaos? Soes silence come to Earth- on vacations? We all want most what we rarest get. Death is the conglomerate, of words, silence, noise, and speechlessness. i could never want for more, after all we crave most what we seldom get. Isn't that true? we crave love, and substitute it with lust, but still,no love. Most of all we crave peace, and find it only in sleep. Fere libenter homines id quod volunt credunt~Julius Caesar |

How true how true how true... we only find peace when we sleep... {No wonder I am absolutally out of my mind and write of such twisted things...lol... insomnia brings no peace!} Thanks for a grand read... I find my peace in sleep, true, yet I also find peace in solitude, and nature when I'm alone. Nevertheless, I thouroghly enjoyed this work. Thank you for this! |

Very interesting and strangely true. I commend you on this wonderful piece. We are born into this world alone, and we will die alone. It is what we do between those times that matters. This is where we leave our mark. |

Lots of thought provoking lines in this poem. One of which is We crave most what we seldom get. Our sense of what is entertainment has changed alot since 9-11. as Hollywood is finding to be true. Enjoyed this poem and will be looking for more of your poems. |

whoa!! i'm surprised (pleasantly of course ) at all your kind replies. songbird- they say that during times of war the movies that sell best are cheery movies and that horror films thrive only in peaceful times....something i find strangely interesting...anyways,thanks for your comments lida Fere libenter homines id quod volunt credunt~Julius Caesar |
