Fair of figure, fair of face. Elegant, and full of grace. Favored with a smile, a 'won't you stay?', Joy and rapture, mine today. Speaking to an angel, a joy of light. Converse joyfully, into the night. A chanve encounter, an open door, Developed, maybe, into something more. In this hour, I now delight, To once again be in your sight. I stay with you, while I may, conversing 'till the break of day. Comforting, your words and arms, I surrender to your charms. Now you've left me, for a while. I am yours, without guile. Yet now I see the sorrow here. Gone for a time, feels like a year. My heart is aching, yet holds firm, Stoutly awaiting your return. That once more I might be with you, To hold you close, to speak and to once more spend with you my time, to once more feel the joy sublime. (still waiting for my Lady to return) |

This is a sweetly sad love song, and I hope she returns soon. Sandra |
