She said
"Love’s Dead"
and her life
is a kamikaze
mission for
a relationship.
Spurning any
feelings that
might hold
her back.
She’ll be
with someone
someday
but lacking
any emotions
or substance.

wow abi- i really like the way you wrote this. it worked VERY well with the theme of being cold. its a very dark write indeed- keep sharing poet

This is a really good piece that really speaks to a lot of us. So many people have been in this state of mind and any relationship we start in this state of mind is doomed to fail. Taking a little time to heal and then moving on has to be the best way to deal with it.
