What If What if a man was born into this world and didn't feel like he ever fit in. Every good thing imaginable happened to him and just as suddenly was taken from his hand. He reached out for love the way he thought he should but it absolutely positively never seemed to work out the way he thought it should. He only wanted to possess some qualities that any woman would admire. He wanted someone special to fall in love with him and to be the object of her desire. One day he realized most of his life had slipped away. What value was his life to be unless love could be his someday. How much love will he give until love comes to him to stay? Oh hon, these feelings burn don't they? It's taken me a long time to learn, you have to live as though you are loved, you love life and everything in it. Not be LOOKING for love... And then when you have really focused on other important things, suddenly there it is. Spend this time alone, to better yourself - better your poetry, your spirituality, your friendships, try that something you've always wanted to try etc. Then boom you'll be pleasantly surprised... *hugs* Isis *The greatest warrior is one that does not need to fight* ~Isis~ |

HI James, this is such a hard thing to understand, when we give and give, and it never works out. Why is my question...But you wrote a darn good poem about it, my friend. And smile, someone is waiting somewhere to give you back all that love. Sandra |
