Black Is Back

Faded photographs.
Missed opportunities.
Memories from the past.
Regrets overshadowing me.
Mistakes in my past
that didn't turn out right.
Once more I stop to pray
in hopes that they
will finally go away.
Wondering will I ever see the day
when these bad memories
finally fade to grey?

I wish my bad memories would fade away too. Every day i wake up with 17 years of mistakes and bad memories, struggling just to move through the motions of a high school kid
