Emptiness I cannot pray tonight That you should come, So worn that prayer is now. But I will ask That in some way A friend should grant That I might speak to him Your name... And in the speaking know A richness that my soul Has yearned for long In vain! |

Rex ... this has a very unique tone and voice ... there is an emptiness to it ... to have to rely on a friend to hear another's name, so that you will feel fulfilled ... nice touch. |
