My shadow lurks in the darkness Where light can no longer go I give you the choice now To be friend or foe. For i don't know which way i'm headed on this dark and lonely Road I have given up my warriors honor And my gentlemens code And the fates have cursed me Or so i'm told that in spring my Memory will die away Like the snow I'm a dying romantic and when i can no longer write i can no longer live -Jeremiah Johnson- |

I like what seems to be a description of someone changing in this poem. Perhaps a little bitter, but changing; and I feel it here. I enjoyed this. |

"For i don't know which way i'm headed on this dark and lonely Road I have given up my warriors honor And my gentlemens code" I believe this part says it all Jeremiah. And doesn't it just suck for you??? It is very WRONG to lie. And to pretend to be something you're not. I'll leave it at that, and you should know what I am referring to. "Baby I've been drifting away, dreaming all day, of holding you, touching you, the only thing that I wanna do is be with you..."Faith Hill |
